What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.

REIKI is administered by a trained practitioner laying their hands lightly on the client, or just above the client.  It is based on the principal that a “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.

If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki treatments can be received using two different types of energy, Physical or Emotional, eliminating problems which manifest in these forms.

Reiki reinforces the connection to your soul, and it feels amazing.

Reiki is not affiliated with any religion, therefore it is open to people from all walks of life.

Reiki has had reported positive effects on many forms of illness and negative conditions. This includes minor things like head or stomach aches, bee stings, colds, flu, tension and anxiety as well as serious illness like heart disease, cancer, etc. The reduction of side effects of regular medical treatments have also been reported – such as the negative effects of post operative pain, depression as well as improving the healing rate and reducing the time needed to stay in the hospital.
